Hey, I'm Rachel, nice to meet you!

I’m so glad you’re here!

My name is Rachel and I am a pediatric and maternity sleep consultant, founder of My Sweet Sleeper, and most importantly a mom/bonus mom of seven. I started in this field a little over 12 years ago after I decided that the corporate world was no longer for me and I became fascinated with pediatric sleep.

When my first son was born, 13 years ago, I knew absolutely nothing about sleep and while I was blessed that he was a fantastic sleeper, I wondered why I wasn’t given any resources when it came to implementing healthy sleep habits, which led me to do a ton of research on my own.

During this research, I discovered something really interesting…

that most approaches out there to sleep were generalized for one type of baby and had a lot of rules about what is “ok” an what isn’t ok when it comes to getting your baby to sleep. Once I became interested in sleep, there was no stopping me! I quit my corporate job, took on a job as a night nanny, and obtained my certification as a pediatric and maternity sleep specialist. As a life-long learner, I have continued to further my knowledge in this field and received my Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary studies with a concentration in human and child development from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
