Five gorgeous items you’ll want for your baby’s first year
From the moment I found out I was (finally) having a girl, I started dreaming of the way I would set up her nursery. From floral patterns to pink and peach undertones, I spent hours upon hours on Pinterest and Instagram seeking design and product inspiration.
And here I am 10 months later, still spending just as much time researching the best brands and purchasing new items for my almost one year old (gasp)!

Fleur Crib Sheets- Not only are these crib sheets beautiful, but they are soft and lightweight. And because I know the importance of the type of material your baby sleeps on, I was happy to see that these are made with jersey cotton, which helps with breathability and, ultimately, healthy sleep.

Minky Baby Blanket- While we are still waiting to let our daughter have a blanket in her crib due to safety recommendations, it is winter and this blanket is great for use during the day, especially on-the-go. You can never have enough blankets, in my opinion, and the white floral pattern is just gorgeous!
Nursing Cover with sewn in burp cloth- 100% real talk, this is my favorite nursing cover I’ve tried! We are ten months into nursing, and as my daughter gets older, it has become harder to cover up in public…but this nursing cover has been a game-changer. Not only is it a beautiful pattern, it is so comfortable and it has a built-in burp cloth which is genius!
I understand many women feel comfortable nursing without a cover at all, which is completely fine as well, but if you are in the market for one, then I guarantee you will love this option.
Minky Nursing Pillow Cover- This slipcover for a nursing pillow felt similar to the minky baby blanket. It is super soft and also beautiful! It slips on easily and can be machine washed without losing its touch. Kids N’ Such doesn’t sell the actual nursing pillows, so if you need one we recommend the original Boppy.
Car Seat Canopy- While I didn’t have the opportunity to personally test this, I do have friends who have and give it a five star review. Car seat canopies are a great way to block out sun, rain, or even snow in the car seat, and I love that the inside is like a blanket.
